At Mount of Olives there are Christian Education opportunities for all ages. One cannot learn well enough all God would have us know. The Holy Spirit is a good and faithful teacher and promises to be with us as we study his Word.
Age: High School and older
Sunday mornings from 10:02-10:45am all are welcomed to learn theology--that is, the divine things of God.
Age: Generally Adults
Takes place the first Thursday of the month at 7pm. Currently in the time of pandemic it is meeting through Google Meet. Our current bible study is God's People Worship and was written by the Rev. Dr. Ralph Klein, professor emeritus of Old Testament at Lutheran School of Theology at Chicago. The 13 sessions include studies in the books of Isaiah, Ezra, and Nehemiah.
A summary: “God’s people
worship in adoration,
confession, thanksgiving, and supplication. God’s people
worship when things are going well, and especially, when the situations of life remind us that only the radical promise of God will save us.”

Age: Start between 7th-12th grade
This is a three year program. One year each of Old Testament, New Testament, and Small Catechism. Beginning September 2020 we will begin our New Testament year. Time for instruction and for community building included. A new student may join at any point.
Age: Kindergarten through 6th grade
Meets first Sunday of the month September through May. One classroom. The curriculum goes over different Bible stories. Includes singing, reading, coloring, praying, and other activities. Last Sunday of the month.
